Japan: India Agrees To Provide Rare Earth Minerals October 26, 2010 India agreed to provide long-term supply of rare earth minerals to Japan’s high-tech economy after recent tensions with its key provider, China, AFP reported Oct. 26. Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh made the announcement during talks on Oct. 25, according to Japanese Industry Minister Akihiro Ohata.
